interested in submitting, eh? so are we! we receive a high volume of submissions weekly. so if you'd like to help us make our inbox a little less difficult to tame, please read the submission guidelines below carefully! we would appreciate it.

IMPORTANT INFO

  • we only accept original poetry & artwork. all of our contributors permanently reserve full rights to their work; we don't own anything but the platform.

  • we accept simultaneous submissions, or work that has been previously published - but it's on you to make sure that publication on the poetry juicebox will not violate another publication's copyright guidelines.

  • our issues are regular, and there is no minimum or maximum number of poems / art pieces per issue.

  • our usual response time is within 1 week.

  • submitters may only submit once per week per category.

  • 'ambidextrous' submitters can submit in both categories simultaneously.

  • your work will be considered for both the upcoming issue and future issues.

  • issue themes are decided by each submission pool - write about anything! we will shape our themes and visions around you.
